THE SUNDAY SOUND, a weekly dose of sixty-second sound creations.
In August of 2010, I challenged myself to create a 60-second sound composition every single day of the month. I called it The Daily Sixty. After thirty-one days of nearly constant production, I fell in love with the idea. My one-minute dailies are now weeklies called The Sunday Sound. I share a new piece every Sunday, my favorite day of the week. All pieces are available on my blog, but here are a few of my favorites:

SEALED, a radio documentary on the lingering effects of divorce.

From left: Colleen, Derek, Crys, David
Read of the production process on my blog.
Sealed is an autobiographical audio documentary which explores divorce and its lingering effect on children. Nearly two decades after their parents' separation, four siblings reflect on its aftermath.
Research shows that most long-term effects on children of divorced parents are common across family circumstance. As such, Sealed proves relatable and cathartic for a wide-ranging audience.
Sealed is composed of narrative interviews and words captured on cassette tape love letters recorded in the '70s. Audio-based work provides an intimacy especially suited for this topic as listeners can internalize images that best suit their own experiences—allowing for deeper connection and identification.
